Welcome to the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport
Master Plan website!

The St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) Management and Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners have begun the process to prepare a new comprehensive Airport Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan drawing set. The last update of the Airport Master Plan for PIE was completed in January 2004.  Since that time there have been a number of changes at the airport, as well as in the aviation industry.

On this website, you will be able to:

  • Learn about the Master Plan process.
  • Find out about opportunities for Public Participation.
  • Read Master Plan related documents as they become available.
  • Provide feedback and comments.

This website will be updated on a regular basis as new information becomes available.

If you missed Public Workshop #1 on May 30th, you can download the presentation boards from the Documents tab.

Airport Master Plan Public Outreach

On May 30, 2018, PIE hosted Public Workshop #1 to provide information on the first working paper of the Airport Master Plan study.  Public Workshop #1 included information on the study background, study process, the existing airport conditions, forecasts of aviation activity, an assessment of the passenger terminal building condition, and an update to the existing airport noise contours.  The workshop was conducted in an open house format where the public was invited to attend 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park. Both the presentation boards and first working paper can be downloaded from the Documents tab. The next Public Workshop is scheduled for Fall 2018 when the airport facility requirements and development alternatives will be presented.
